The 2013 edition of the Anzac Day Media Style Guide is now available and free to download. The 2013 edition has been updated, with expanded sections on military organisation and medals, in response to readers’ feedback.
The guide is independent, with an editorial advisory board drawn from academia and the media. It does not represent the view or agenda of any individual or organisation.
Anzac Day Media Style Guide 2013
The Anzac Day Media Style Guide is written by Sharon Mascall-Dare, a working journalist who has previously written style guides for the BBC and the ABC. The guide is an output from her PhD at the University of South Australia, which is entitled: ‘An Australian story: media and memory in the making of Anzac Day’.
