Joint Day – the grand opening

Wednesday (December 7) was the joint day when ALAA 2016 and ALS 2016 overlapped. More than 300 language researchers crowded into the Caulfield campus and there was a buzz of energy around the venue.
The conference(s) were officially opened by The Dean of Monash’s Faculty of Arts, Prof. Rae Frances. Rae emphasised the value she places on interdisciplinary research and encouraged us all  to see the joint day as an opportunity to forward that aim. img20161207091014
