The 3rd Dr Jan Randa Conference in Holocaust and Genocide studies brings together distinguished keynote scholars, academics and postgraduate students from around the world. Join us for this Public Symposium featuring Aftermath Conference Keynotes Richard Bessel, Ben Kiernan and Jay Winter, and moderated by Dr Daniella Doron.
Understanding Genocide in the Shadow of the Holocaust
Histories and memories of the Holocaust have often been woven together into a paradigm that shapes how we understand and commemorate other genocides. This symposium examines the limitations and possibilities of exploring those traumatic events through the conceptual lens of the Shoah.
This event is co-hosted by the ACJC and the Monash Institute for Public History.
No cost, no prior bookings.
