Professor Leah Garrett, Loti Smorgon Chair of Contemporary Jewish Life & Culture

Leah Garrett moved to Australia in 2008 from  the University of Denver where she was an Associate Professor of English Literature and Jewish Studies.  Leah has a Phd in Jewish Literary Studies and has published books and articles on Jewish and American Literature. She has just completed a fourth book entitled Kosher Soldiers: Jewish American Literature of World War II.  At Monash she teaches courses on American and Jewish literature.
