Our Centre

image of doorThe ACJC is an interdisciplinary centre that sits within the School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies (SOPHIS) in the Faculty of Arts. Our researchers are immersed in the academic study of the cultures, literatures, politics and histories of Jewish civilisation.  Each year, over a thousand students study with us on issues that impact on world history. We are known for our global internships and overseas study trips to Israel, Europe and Rwanda. Our subjects are offered through the Majors in History, Religion, International Studies and Film, as well as through the Minors in Jewish Studies and Holocaust and Genocide Studies.
