Jewish Studies

The ACJC leads the field of Jewish Studies through the pursuit of excellence in research, teaching and international engagement. It promotes the continuing study of Jewish civilisation in the critical and academic environment of Monash University.

ACJC Courses attract hundreds of students from across a variety of disciplines – history, politics, literature and philosophy. From the history of ancient Israel and medieval mysticism to contemporary Jewish literature and Holocaust and Genocide Studies, the ACJC has a teaching and research program that spans the breadth of Jewish history and culture.
