Leonard Cohen: Back on Boogie Street
Fame, failure and recovery – a look at the life and enduring career of Leonard Cohen from his first book, Let Us Compare Mythologies (1956) to his latest album, woefully titled, Popular Problems (2014).

Ira Nadel, Professor of English and Distinguished University Scholar at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada is the author of biographies of Leonard Cohen, Tom Stoppard, David Mamet, Leon Uris and, most recently, Virginia Woolf. He has published on Gertrude Stein, James Joyce, Ezra Pound, Samuel Beckett and David Foster Wallace and has edited, among other works, The Cambridge Companion to Ezra Pound and Ezra Pound in Context (Cambridge). Forthcoming is a critical life of Philip Roth.. He has lectured in Israel, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, China, U.S. and Canada.
